The Burgin Family in Chicago!

We made it to the Windy City yesterday after dropping Roxie off at the doggy hotel. This week was so busy prepping for Thea and Patrick's wedding. Everyone was so excited to get here and today is the day!

Pictures from our first day in the city.
The crew on the way. The kids love the bench in the middle in the new car.
Wide eyed as we rolled into the city.
Once we navigated to our hotel we headed out to sightsee. We arrived about noon and had to leave for the rehearsal dinner around 4:30. I forgot how time seems so different in the city. It was the fastest few hours ever! It was chilly but not cold, near perfect Chicago winter weather to walk around.
Walking down Michigan Ave.
We stopped to eat at Gino's East pizza. The kids all loved the graffiti on the walls and we're excited for Chicago style pizza.
We weren't there too long as we realized we didn't have much time and needed something faster. We headed to Water Tower Place.
American Girl store. My girls don't know about American Girl too much and didn't know what to think.
They all enjoyed the Lego store displays.

Inside American Girl. Nearly bewilderment by the girls at all the dolls and accessories.
So many dolls to customize. Mason about fell on the floor when he saw the prices! It was funny.

The girls enjoyed looking and never asked for anything!
With our time flying by we opted for Chicago style pizza by the slice and the girls chose apples in the food court.
All loved the glass elevator.

John Hancock building.
Walking down Michigan Ave.
Girls inside Disney store! Molly LOVED it!
Inside Nike Town. Mitch loved this shoe chandelier.
We had the rehearsal for the wedding last night. More pics later!
